Post-pacemaker implantation patient care involves wound dressing at intervals determined by the physician. During dressing changes, the sutured area should be cleaned with a sterile solution and covered with a sterile bandage. Until the sutures are removed, care should be taken to protect the implantation site from water contact during bathing. For the first one to two months, the arm where the pacemaker was implanted should not be raised more than 90 degrees, heavy objects should not be lifted, and the patient should avoid lying on the pacemaker site. Regular follow-up appointments must be strictly adhered to.
