Osteosarcoma treatment is highly individualized, taking into account many factors such as the tumor's type and stage, potential side effects, the patient's overall health, and personal preferences. Generally, chemotherapy and surgery constitute the main treatment modalities. Radiotherapy (radiation therapy) is usually not recommended for osteosarcoma treatment. However, it may be considered as a treatment option for patients who are not suitable for surgery or prefer not to undergo surgical intervention.
