Cardiac aneurysms are generally monitored regularly unless they lead to complications such as severe heart failure or heart valve problems. However, surgical treatment may be considered in cases where severe heart failure develops, heart valves are affected, a clot forms within the aneurysm, or there is a suspicion of aneurysm wall rupture. Furthermore, for patients undergoing another cardiac operation, intervention for an existing cardiac aneurysm is recommended simultaneously.
