PRP is administered by injecting concentrated plasma, obtained from the patient's own blood through a specialized separation process, into the ovarian tissues under ultrasound guidance. The expected response from the ovarian tissue typically begins to be observed from the third month following the procedure. In some patients, particularly those with diminished ovarian reserve or a poor response to previous treatments, PRP therapy has been reported to result in not only egg retrieval but also pregnancies. However, there is currently insufficient scientific data to suggest that the PRP method statistically significantly increases the success rate of in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment.
