In recent years, cross-linking can indeed be combined with PRK/No-Touch Laser, particularly in selected cases. This combined approach is primarily considered for keratoconus patients diagnosed early and possessing adequate corneal thickness. The objective of this synergistic treatment is twofold: firstly, to halt the progression of keratoconus through the cross-linking procedure, and secondly, to achieve a degree of refractive correction with PRK or No-Touch Laser, thereby enhancing the patient's uncorrected visual acuity.
