An aneurysmal bone cyst (ABC) is generally a benign lesion and does not directly cause death. However, in very rare cases, it can grow excessively, particularly in critical anatomical regions such as the pelvis and spine. In such advanced cases, life-threatening complications may arise due to the cyst compressing vital structures, causing severe bone damage, or from risks associated with delayed treatment or complex surgical interventions.
