HoLEP (Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate) is a minimally invasive surgical procedure for the prostate. It is performed without any external incisions, by inserting an endoscope through the urethra. A holmium laser is used to precisely separate the enlarged prostate tissue from its capsule. The enucleated prostate tissue is then morcellated (broken into small pieces) within the bladder and subsequently removed from the body.
