Post-surgical patient follow-up is meticulously planned based on the scope of the operation and individual risk factors. Joint follow-up with the oncology department may be necessary, particularly depending on surgical findings. Regular check-ups, including blood tests and imaging methods (tomography, MRI, or PET/CT), are performed at specific intervals. The status of special markers placed during surgery is generally evaluated after 4 months with a diagnostic laparoscopy. Additionally, a PET/CT scan at 6 months may also be planned as part of the follow-up.
