Cardiac aneurysms generally do not spontaneously regress or heal. However, small and uncomplicated aneurysms can remain stable and harmless in some patients throughout their lives, without causing any symptoms. Therefore, surgical intervention is planned only for specific cases of cardiac aneurysms. Other cases are closely monitored with regular echocardiography.
