Endobronchial Ultrasonography (EBUS) is performed by advancing a specialized endoscope into the trachea and bronchi via the mouth or nose, similar to a bronchoscopy procedure. Depending on the patient's clinical condition, the procedure can be performed under local anesthesia, conscious sedation, or general anesthesia.
