Thulium laser is successfully used in the treatment and staging of various conditions in the urological field. These applications include the endoscopic treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), regardless of prostate size; endoscopic resection and staging of bladder tumors; and the resection and staging of upper urinary tract tumors, including those of the renal collecting system and ureter.
