Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE) is a method similar to ultrasound. During the procedure, the patient's upper body needs to be exposed. After the patient lies on their left side, three electrodes are attached to the chest area. Once the patient's information is recorded in the device, the heart is visualized in detail by applying gel to the echocardiography probe. Heart sounds can be heard during the procedure. While no special preparation is required for the procedure, it is important for the patient's comfort to wear comfortable clothing. Both black and white and color images of the heart are captured and recorded as video. At the end of the examination, the cardiologist informs the patient about the findings. The Transthoracic Echocardiography report and video documentation can be delivered to the patient within 2 hours after the procedure.
