Patients with shoulder calcification (shoulder osteoarthritis) typically present with significant pain and restricted shoulder movement. This condition leads to considerable difficulties in daily living activities. For instance, basic functions such as washing one's face, combing hair, dressing and undressing (especially reaching the back and fastening/unfastening a bra), lifting objects from the ground, carrying them, and even eating can become challenging. Patients often describe a deep, bone-like pain felt in the shoulder. This pain generally tends to worsen at night and can negatively impact sleep quality.
