Post-operative care following aneurysmal bone cyst surgery varies depending on the patient's general condition, the affected bone where the tumor is located, and the extent of the bone damage. To support the healing of surrounding tissues and restore joint range of motion, exercises or physical therapy are recommended for the first 6 weeks. The initial 6-week post-operative period is generally sensitive, and patients may be allowed to walk with partial weight-bearing. Given the tendency of aneurysmal bone cysts to recur, regular follow-up examinations are of great importance for the early detection of a possible recurrence.
